Wednesday Evening Bible Study
–
We will meet in the Good
Shepherd Class Room for a "gathering time" at 6:15 PM
and begin our study at 6:30 to conclude at 7:30. Please
use the "Alley" entrance (there is plenty of parking in
the lot there behind the church). Remember to bring your
Bible and read over the parables of Luke 15. We look
forward to seeing you this Wednesday.
We are collecting old eye glasses and magnifier
glasses (cheaters) for Dr. Jeffrey Rice's next mission
trip to Guatemala. If
you can help please drop the glasses off at the office
or give them to Ed Reich. Thank you!
Update on Soup sale:
The Souper Bowl soup sale was a great success thanks to
all of you. You helped in the raising of $675.60 for the
Haiti earthquakes victims. Pray that this money will
meet the needs that draw them to a relationship with
Jesus and that He above all, will be glorified.
Membership & Confirmation
–
Several of you have
expressed interest in joining First United Methodist
Church and we would like to spend a few sessions
together to review and discuss the meaning and benefits
of membership. Please let the Pastor know of your
interest.
